Fixed Blade Reamer Stabilizer Family (FBR/S)
for sale in Russia/Caspian: Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan

OMNI Fixed Blade Reamer/Stabilizer can be divided into two main types:

I Reamer
Fixed Blade Reamer provides high and aggressive reaming capacity. This reamer design fits a wide range of formations from soft to hard. This tool is provided with two types of reaming inserts to best suit the drilling conditions and formations:

A. PDC Reamer
The reaming inserts matrix is doped with precisely located dome PDC (Polycrystalline Diamond Compact) inserts to fit the most abrasive formations and ensure the longest possible gauge life of the tool.

B. TCI Reamer
This tool is used for less abrasive formations and utilizes patented TCI novel design to ensure longer gauge life for the tool.

Improved hole gauge adjustment
improved hole shape adjustment
Increased reliability due to the absence of moving parts
Optimized mud flow due to helical mud ways
360 contact for maximized stabilization

II Stabilizer

OMNI Fixed Blade Stabilizer provides BHA stabilization and vibration damping through a set of advanced designs and configurations to fit all types of formations and drilling conditions.
OMNI Stabilizer can be classified into the following two groups:

A. TCI Stabilizer
In this tool the gauge is supported with flat head Tungsten Carbide Inserts (TCI) for abrasive formations to slow down the wear process and maintain the tool gauge for a longer time.

B. Hard-Facing (HF) Stabilizer
This tool is used for less abrasive formations with blades covered with superior grade hard-facing instead of TCI. Hard-faced tools are redressable by rebuilding the brazed HF layer whenever wear exceeds tolerance.

360 contact for maximum stabilization
Optimized mud flow through specially designed helical mud ways
Front reaming capacity by using dome carbides to ensure smooth glide
Increased reliability due to the absence of moving parts

Fixed Blade Tools are available in three different configurations:
1. String (Pin/Box Connection)
2. Near Bit (Box/Box Connection)
3. On-Bit (Box/Box Connection)
In the On-Bit configuration, the lower neck of the tool is eliminated to provide direct stabilization on top of the drill bit to reduce drilling vibrations to the maximum extent. Such a configuration greatly increases the life of the PDC bits.
